Privacy Policy for nameLibre

nameLibre (the “App”) is operated by Eugenio Keller Puente (freelancer, Spain). The App was designed to work without an account and without a server of its own: the names you check are sent directly from your iPhone to each site you are checking, and your history stays on your device. This Privacy Policy explains what the App handles, where it goes, and your rights under applicable laws (including the GDPR).

2. What Stays on Your Device

• Your history and favorites: the names you have checked, their results, the AI ideas you generated and the project descriptions you typed are stored only on your iPhone. You can delete any entry, or all of them, from the History screen. Deleting the App deletes them.
• Your settings (language, appearance) and your free-plan counters are stored only on the device.
• The App does not use iCloud or any other cloud storage.

3. Name Checks: Requests Sent to Each Site

When you check a name, the App sends a request directly from your iPhone to each site it checks (for example, it loads the public profile page instagram.com/yourname, asks X's public username checker, or queries the official domain registry). Those requests contain the name you typed and the usual technical data of any web request (your IP address and a browser identifier). Each site receives and processes that request under its own privacy policy. The developer never sees these requests and has no server in between.

Sites checked: YouTube, Instagram, Threads, TikTok, X, Facebook, Snapchat, Bluesky, Twitch, Kick, GitHub, Reddit, Pinterest, the Apple App Store (iTunes Search API), the Verisign and RDAP registries for .com, .net and .app, and Google Public DNS for .io and .es.

4. AI Ideas

When you ask for name ideas, the App sends the project description you typed, the style you chose, the names already suggested and the language you use to the developer's relay (hosted at kubographics.com), which forwards it to OpenAI to generate the names.

• The relay does not store your description. It only keeps anonymous usage records (date, number of tokens and cost) to control costs and prevent abuse.
• OpenAI processes the text under its API data policy: data sent through the API is not used to train its models and may be retained for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring. See OpenAI's API data usage policy.
• Please avoid including personal information in your project description; it isn't needed to get good names.

5. Purchases

The nameLibre Pro subscription is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. The developer never receives your payment details. The App checks your subscription status with Apple (StoreKit) on your device. Refunds are handled by Apple: Apple Support.

6. What the App Does Not Do

No account or sign-up, no advertising, no analytics, no tracking across apps or websites, no selling or sharing of data, and no advertising identifiers. The App requests no device permissions (no camera, photos, contacts, location or notifications).

7. Children & Age

nameLibre is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from anyone under that age.

8. Your Rights (GDPR)

You can access, correct or delete your data at any time from the App itself, because it is stored on your device. The developer holds no personal data about you, so there is nothing to request from him; for the relay's anonymous usage records, or any question, write to contact@kubographics.com.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. In Spain, this is the AEPD (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos).

9. Service Providers

10. Changes to this Policy

I may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in features or legal requirements. The “Effective Date” above will always show the latest version.
