Privacy Policy for 25 Steps

25 Steps (the “App”) is operated by Eugenio Keller Puente (freelancer, Spain). The App was designed to collect no personal data at all. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App handles, where it stays, and your rights under applicable laws (including GDPR).

2. Data We Collect

None. 25 Steps has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting and no servers of its own. Nothing you do in the game is sent to the developer. The App does not collect IP addresses, advertising identifiers or device identifiers.

3. Information Stored on Your Device

• Game progress: your best score and whether you have seen the flashing-lights warning are saved only on your iPhone.
• Pending leaderboard time: if a finishing time cannot be sent to Game Center right away (for example, when you are offline), it is kept in your device's Keychain until it is sent, and then removed.
• Easter egg bonus: a small counter for a hidden bonus is stored locally on your device.

4. Motion Sensors

The App reads your iPhone's motion sensors (gyroscope and accelerometer) to change the perspective of the room as you tilt the device. This information is used live, on the device only. It is never stored, recorded or sent anywhere. The App does not use the camera, microphone, location, contacts or photos.

5. Apple Services: Game Center and Purchases

• Game Center: if you are signed in, your finishing time is sent to Apple Game Center leaderboards, where other players can see your Game Center nickname and time. This is handled by Apple.
• In-app purchases and tips: optional purchases (extra hints) and tips are processed entirely by Apple. The developer does not receive your payment details or identity. Refunds are handled solely by Apple: Apple Support.

6. Children & Age

25 Steps is suitable for general audiences. The App does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children, and does not require any personal information to be played.

7. Your Rights (GDPR)

Under GDPR you may have rights to access, rectify or erase your data. Because 25 Steps does not collect personal data and keeps its information on your device, you can remove everything by deleting the App. Game Center data can be managed in your Apple account settings. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. In Spain, this is the AEPD (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos).

8. Cookies & Website

The App does not use cookies. The 25 Steps product page (link) does not set tracking or analytics cookies.

9. Changes to this Policy

I may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in features or legal requirements. The “Effective Date” above will always show the latest version.
