Terms and Conditions for 25 Steps

Welcome to 25 Steps! These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the 25 Steps mobile game (the “App”). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. The Game

25 Steps is a memory game in which you repeat a growing sequence of lit tiles inside a 3D room. The goal is to complete 25 steps. The App is provided for personal, non-commercial entertainment only.

3. Health & Photosensitivity Warning

The App contains flashing lights and fast color patterns, especially at 5, 10 and 15 steps and at the end of the game.
If you or anyone playing has photosensitive epilepsy or has ever had a seizure, do not use the App without consulting a doctor. Stop playing immediately if you feel dizzy, get a headache, or notice any change in your vision.
Enabling Reduce Motion or Dim Flashing Lights in iOS Settings gives a calmer version of the effects.
The App uses device motion (tilting). Play in a safe place and do not use it while driving, walking in traffic, or doing anything that requires your attention.

4. License to Use the App

I grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal purposes. You may not modify, copy, reverse-engineer, distribute, rent, lease, sell, or sublicense the App or any part of it. All designs, graphics, sounds and code remain the property of the developer.

5. Hints, In-App Purchases & Tips

Free hint: every game includes 1 free hint.
Extra hints (one-time purchases): “+2 Extra Hints” and “+4 Extra Hints” add hints to every game for as long as you have the App, and can be restored on your devices with “Restore purchases”.
Tips: “Supporter”, “Backer” and “Patron” are optional, voluntary tips to support the developer. They do not unlock any content or feature.
All purchases are processed by Apple. Prices may vary by region according to Apple policies. Refunds are handled solely under Apple’s policy: Apple Support.

6. Leaderboards & Fair Play

Completed games can be submitted to Apple Game Center leaderboards: one for games completed without hints and one for games completed with hints.
Leaderboards are provided through Apple Game Center and are subject to Apple’s terms. Your Game Center nickname and time may be visible to other players.
Times obtained by modifying the App, manipulating the device, screen recording during play, or any other form of cheating are not valid and may be excluded or removed.
I do not guarantee that leaderboards will always be available, accurate, or preserved.

7. Privacy & Data

The App does not collect personal data. Game progress is stored locally on your device, and purchases and leaderboards are handled by Apple. For details, please review the Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimers

The App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind.
I do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with all devices or iOS versions.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I am not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of the App.
Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the App is to stop using it.

10. Termination & Availability

I may modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or certain features at any time without notice.
I may revoke access if you violate these Terms or misuse the App.

11. Changes to These Terms

I may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised Terms. The “Last Updated” date reflects the latest changes.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The competent courts in Spain shall have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that may grant you additional rights in your country of residence.
