SnapInvoicer does not actively collect personal data. All information managed within the App is user-generated and includes:

• Invoice Data: Client names, project details, product information, quotes, and invoices.
• Core Data Storage: Information is stored locally on your device and optionally synced via Apple’s iCloud using CloudKit.

The App does not collect or store:

• Browsing data, cookies, or usage tracking information.
• Personally identifiable information beyond what is entered by the user for invoice generation.

2. Use of Data

The data entered into the App is used exclusively for:

• Generating invoices, quotes, and reports.
• Facilitating local backups and restoration of invoice-related data.
• Syncing information across Apple devices within the user’s ecosystem through iCloud.

No data is collected for marketing or analytics purposes.

3. Data Sharing

SnapInvoicer maintains strict privacy controls. Data is:

• Private and Secure: Data stored in CloudKit is fully encrypted and accessible only by the user’s Apple account.
• Non-Public: No data entered into the App is shared with third parties or made publicly visible.

The only external connection is to:

• www.snapinvoicer.com: The App downloads a JSON file containing currency exchange rates provided by the European Central Bank to ensure accurate financial calculations.

4. Data Storage and Security

• Local Storage: All data is stored on your device using Core Data.
• CloudKit Integration: Data is synced privately across devices (upcoming feature) within the Apple ecosystem.
• Backups: Users can create and restore local backups directly to and from their computer without involving external servers or web services.
• Security Measures: The App leverages Apple’s encryption and secure storage standards to protect your data from unauthorized access.

5. User Rights

• Access: All data can be reviewed and edited directly within the App.
• Backup Options: Users can export and restore data through local backups.
• Data Privacy: Users can disable iCloud syncing at any time, ensuring that all data remains exclusively on their device.

6. Data Retention

All data entered into the App remains under the user’s control and is stored locally or in iCloud. Data is retained as long as the user chooses to keep it.

7. Third-Party Services

SnapInvoicer does not integrate with or rely on any third-party services, with the exception of:

• Currency Data: A connection to www.snapinvoicer.com to fetch a JSON file containing currency exchange rates from the European Central Bank.

No personal or invoice data is transmitted during this process.

8. Policy Updates

This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically to reflect changes in the App’s functionality or applicable laws. Users will be notified of significant updates through in-app notifications or by email.
